Frequency of banned weapons' use in Donbas grows manifold over past week
The number of ceasefire breaches in Donbas has grown by 10% over the past week, while the frequency of use of prohibited weapons has soared nine times, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM), Alexander Hug, said at a Skype press briefing on security in Ukraine and the OSCE activity on Friday.
According to Hug, the mission has seen a 10% increase in ceasefire breaches, which totaled 4,827 over the past week, while the frequency of use of the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements has grown by nine times.
