Three leaders of electoral sympathies of Ukrainians for the country's presidency include Head of the Batkivschyna Party and parliamentary faction Yulia Tymoshenko, current head of state Petro Poroshenko, as well as rock musician, leader of the Okean Elzy band Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, according to a public opinion survey conducted by the Rating Sociological Group.

If the presidential elections in Ukraine took place next Sunday, 12.1% of those who intend to go to the polls would vote for Tymoshenko, 10.6% for Poroshenko, 7.4% for Vakarchuk, shows the opinion poll whose results were presented at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.

In addition, Leader of the Civil Position Party Anatoliy Hrytsenko and leader of the For Life party Vadym Rabinovich would garner 6.4% the vote, each. Some 6.2% of those polled would vote for Radical Party Leader Oleh Liashko, 5.4% would vote for the Opposition block leader Yuriy Boiko.

The rest of the candidates would get 10.8% of the vote. Some 23.3% of respondents found it difficult to answer.

At the same time, 17.1% of respondents said they would not go to the polls.

The survey was conducted on November 22-30, 2017. Some 2,000 people aged 18 and older took part in face-to-face interviews across Ukraine, except Crimea and occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The margin of error doesn't exceed 2.2%.
