Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has seized the house of the former First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin, an online edition ‘Nashi Groshi’ (Our Money) has reported with the reference to the court decision dated June 17.

According to the information, the court arrested the apartment building with a total area of 1,068 square meters with basements, sheds and a garage (142 square meters), which is located in Puscha Vodytsia.

According to the court decision, Kuzmin is forbidden to dispose of this property.

As reported, on May 2014 the criminal proceedings were opened in respect of Kuzmin due to the illegal detention of former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko in 2010 (under Article 371 Part 1 of the Criminal Code - deliberate unlawful detention or illegal attachment).

He has been wanted since June, 2014.
