Citizens of 9 countries killed in Rostov plane crash
Citizens of nine countries, i.e. Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Seychelles, Cyprus, Spain, India and Colombia, have died in the crash of a Boeing 737 at the Rostov-on-Don airport on Saturday morning, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov told journalists.
"Most of those killed are Russians, who lived in four regions of the Russian Federation, that is, in the Rostov region, the Krasnodar territory, the Volgograd region, and the city of Moscow," Sokolov said.
Forty victims of the crash were residents of the Rostov region, he said.
The disaster killed a total of 62 people.
