All in all, 42% of the senior management of the central office of the State Fiscal Service and 15% of the senior management of the service's local branches will be dismissed under the lustration law following inspections carried out by Ukraine's Justice Ministry, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said during a government meeting on Wednesday.

"As the result of the inspections carried out by the Justice Ministry, 42% of senior managers of the central apparatus of the State Fiscal Service fall under immediate dismissal. A total of 15% of the senior management of the service's regional branches are also subject to immediate dismissal," he said

According to him, 344 personal files of senior managers have been examined.

"This is the first step towards the formation of a new State Fiscal Service on the same principle as we are forming the national police," Yatseniuk said.

As reported, in September, a task force of the Justice Ministry began its inspections of the State Fiscal Service (GFS) under the lustration law.
