Poroshenko: Next year will be very difficult for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko predicts difficult economic situation in 2015, but believes it will start improving in 2016.

"Unfortunately, I cannot promise you a land flowing with milk and honey. The next year will be very difficult for the country. The war has hit the economy hard," he said during the celebrations of the Police Day in Kyiv on Friday.

According to the president, only overcoming all the risks and threats, the restoration of peace, the return of the occupied territories under the Ukrainian flag and the Ukrainian control could become a guarantee that "starting from 2016 we will provide the country's economic growth, and the planned gradual increase in social standards, the level of social security, including for police officers."
