Arbuzov says degree of conflict in Ukraine is falling

Acting Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov has said that the level of protest sentiments in the country is falling.

"The laws that caused disputes in society have been amended thanks to the efforts of the president and the Verkhovna Rada. There is no confrontation on the streets. Peaceful protests are taking place without any restrictions by the authorities. In general, the degree of conflict is falling," he said, while opening a government meeting on Wednesday.

He said he was convinced that the executive authorities should support the stabilization of the situation in the country.
