Doctors have confirmed two cases of death from "traumatic injuries" on Hrushevskoho Street and denied reports that a man died at a Kyiv hospital as a result of falling from a Dynamo Stadium colonnade.

At 0600 this morning a paramedic brigade was contacted by a volunteer who asked to help a man injured on Hrushevskoho Street, who was at a volunteers' medical center at the time, Kyiv Healthcare Department Director Vitaliy Mokhorev said.

Paramedics were at the scene two minutes later but had to pronounce the man dead, he said.

Also, there was another request from volunteers at 0833 regarding yet another injured person. He was pronounced dead by doctors at 0911.

"Those were traumatic injuries," Mokhorev said, when asked whether the men had gunshot injuries. The circumstance and nature of the injuries must be established by forensic experts and law enforcement agencies, he said.

Mokhorev denied reports that one participant in the events on Hrushevskoho Street has died in the hospital after falling from a stadium colonnade.

The man was taken to the hospital No. 17, he suffered bruises but no fractures. Currently he is in moderately grave condition. He denies suffering his injuries on Hrushevskoho Street and claims to have fallen from a roof while trying to repair an antenna.
