New low cost airline EL AL will offer Kyiv-Tel-Aviv flights at price from $99
Israel's national airline EL AL is launching the new UP brand, which will perform budget flights from Israel to five European destinations – Kyiv, Berlin, Budapest, Prague and Larnaca, the press service of the Israeli airline reported.
The press service said that the minimum price of a ticket from Kyiv to Tel-Aviv would be $99.
Special tariffs for flights from/to Israel for any dates will be in effect from the period from March 30 to June 30, 2014. The price of a one-way ticket to Prague and Budapest will be from $69, and to Larnaca, Kyiv and Berlin – from $99.
The sale of tickets will start in coming weeks, and the first UP flight from the Ukrainian capital is scheduled for March 30, 2014.
EL AL airline will perform 50 flights a week under the UP brand, including 11 flights a week for each direction to Kyiv, Berlin, Prague and Budapest, and six to Larnaca.
The UP brand offers tickets of two classes – economy and economy plus.
EL AL Israel Airlines was founded in 1948 as a national carrier. It is headquartered in Tel-Aviv. The airline has the reputation of being one of the safest airlines in the world. It flies to Asia, Africa, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
Its fleet consists of 41 aircraft, including newest Boeing 737-900ER. The airline services 4.2 million passengers a year to 38 direct destinations.
EL AL has been flying between Ukraine and Israel since 1993. The official representative office of the airline was opened in Ukraine in 2001.
The airline performs five flights a week from the Boryspil International Airport (Terminal D).
