British court rules to keep Ukrainian terrorist suspect in custody, trial scheduled for January 14

The Central Criminal Court of England and Wales in London has ruled to leave Ukrainian post-graduate student Pavlo Lapshyn, who is charged with terrorism and the terrorism-related murder of an 82-year-old Briton, in custody as a pre-trial restriction, BBC Ukraine reported.
"Given the seriousness of the charges brought against Lapshyn, the court decided to choose custody as a pre-trial restriction," the BBC reported.
The date of his trial has provisionally been set for January 14, 2014
