Vlasenko hopes ECHR's decision on his parliamentary mandate will be made in next few months

Former Ukrainian MP Serhiy Vlasenko (Batkivschyna faction) has said he plans to return to the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada if the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) declares the annulment of his mandate as unlawful.

"I'll come to the session hall, and that's all," he said at a press briefing on Tuesday, when asked how he plans to restore his rights if the ECHR rules that the decision of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine to strip him of his mandate is unlawful.

When asked how the situation with MP Roman Stadniychuk will be resolved in such a case, Vlasenko said: "These are the problems of Mr. Stadniychuk."

He expressed hope that the ECHR would issue a ruling on his case soon.

"I hope that the ECHR's judgment will be issued in the next few months," Vlasenko said.
