Sybiha to visit Italy on Nov 25-26 to participate in ministerial meeting of G7
On November 25-26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha is to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
"On November 25-26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha, on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will visit Italy to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven," the message says.
In particular, on Monday, the Foreign Minister will hold a series of bilateral talks with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell, and foreign ministers of the countries of the Global South.
On Tuesday, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is scheduled to participate in a special session of the Group of Seven ministerial meeting on Ukraine, as well as a number of bilateral talks with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Melanie Joly, as well as German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
"The key topic of the talks will be strengthening support for Ukraine against the background of recent aggressive steps by the Russian Federation, including the involvement of North Korean troops in aggression, the shelling of Ukraine with an intermediate-range ballistic missile, aerial terror against civilians, critical infrastructure and the energy system," the Foreign Ministry stressed.
It is reported that during the talks, Sybiha will agree on important steps by the allies to increase military support, increase sanction pressure on the Russian Federation, implement the Victory Plan and move towards a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace based on the Peace Formula and the UN Charter.
