Prosecutor's Office: 585 children die in Ukraine as result of Russia’ armed aggression
More than 2,249 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation: as of Friday morning, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 585 children have died and more than 1,664 have received injuries of varying severity, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) reports on Telegram.
The largest number of children affected were in the following regions: Donetsk - 597, Kharkiv - 459, Kherson - 184, Dnipropetrovsk - 184, Kyiv - 133, Zaporizhia - 145, Mykolaiv - 117.
On October 29, as a result of shelling in the village of Stanyslav, Kherson district, Kherson region, boys aged 8 and 14 were injured.
On the same day, as a result of shelling of the urban settlement of Oleksiyivo-Druzhkivka in Donetsk region, a 16-year-old girl and a 1.6-year-old boy were injured.
On October 30, as a result of shelling in the village of Bezruki, Derhachi district, Kharkiv region, a 10-year-old girl was injured.
As a result of shelling in the city of Dnipro, a 14-year-old boy was injured.
On October 30, as a result of shelling in the city of Kharkiv, a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old boy were killed, and an 11-year-old boy was injured.
