The Ukrainian opposition intends to hold an indefinite protest outside the building of the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Lesia Ukrainka Square in Kyiv, despite there being a court ruling banning such rallies until November 12.

"This will be an indefinite protest action," leader of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union Oleh Tiahnybok told reporters on Monday.

According to him, the opposition expects that the protests will spread across Ukraine.

Leader of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Arseniy Yatseniuk explained that a meeting of people's deputies with voters was currently taking place in front of the Central Election Commission.

He also said that opposition leaders would join the rally at 18.00.
