Only nine out of 45 operators of gas distribution pipelines of Ukraine completed preparatory work required for connection to the information system for daily gas balancing and are ready to exchange information, the press service of Ukrtransgaz has reported.

The company said that they had previously tuned all the required platform settings, conducted appropriate training, and also sent connection instructions to gas distribution pipeline operators.

In addition, to ensure full testing of the system, which was planned to be carried out from October 19 to November 30, relevant forms of providing information were made public, and letters were sent to the gas distribution pipeline operators requesting data to be submitted before October 15.

However, as of October 22, along with Ukrtransgaz, Mariupolgaz, Kremenchuk department, Hadiach gaz, Donetskoblgaz, Kirovohradgaz, Kremenchukgaz, Ternopilgaz, Khersongaz and Cherkasygaz started testing the system.

As reported, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) postponed the transition to the daily balancing of gas for the third time - until December 1. Previously, the transition was postponed to August 1, later - on October 1.
