Ukraine PM, foreign minister, Naftogaz CEO to participate in YES forum
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman will close the second day of the plenary sessions of the 15th Annual Meeting of Yalta European Strategy (YES) on September 15 with his speech on challenges to Ukraine's reforms and economic development, according to a report posted on the YES website on Wednesday.
The topics of the second day of the forum will be issues in the sphere of economy, politics and security of Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
The meeting participants will discuss the future of Ukraine and the fate of the Minsk agreements in the broad context of long-term prospects of the Eastern European region, the problem of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, and Russia's future after Putin.
A separate session will focus on investment and the possibility of overcoming poverty.
Stephen Sackur, host of BBC HARDtalk, will moderate the discussions. Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker, Naftogaz Ukrainy CEO Andriy Kobolev, politicians Yulia Tymoshenko and Anatoliy Hrytsenko, public figures Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Ksenia Sobchak will participate in the forum.
