SkyUp airline submits application to be assigned to routes, including from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv to Odesa

New airline SkyUp has submitted applications to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine to be assigned to some routes, including internal from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv to Odesa.

According to a posting on the website of the authority, SkyUp submitted applications to be assigned to first internal and international flights from June 1.

The airline, in particular, asks to permit it to fly from Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv to Odesa, as well as from Kyiv to Barcelona, Larnaca, Rimini, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Batumi, Burgas, Varna, Tenerife, Tirana; from Kharkiv to Barcelona, Larnaca, Rimini and Burgas; from Lviv to Barcelona and Larnaca; from Zaporizhia to Barcelona, as well as from Odesa to Barcelona, Rimini and Larnaca.

In addition, SkyUp submitted applications to be assigned to service charter international flights from Kyiv to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Tivat, Tirana, Batumi and Monastir; from Kharkiv to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Tivat; from Lviv to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Tivat; from Odesa to Antalya, Dalaman, Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Tivat; from Chernivtsi to Antalya; from Vinnytsia to Antalya; from Kherson to Antalya, as well as from Zaporizhia to Antalya, Sharm el-Sheikh and Tivat.

As reported, SkyUp receive the operator certificate and started flying on May 21.

SkyUp was registered in June 2016. It was founded by ACS-Ukraine LLC belonging to Tetiana Alba and Yuriy Alba, who also own the JoinUp! travel company.
