Vodafone Ukraine sees revenue rise by 6.2%, net profit by 2.3 times in Q2, 2017

Vodafone Ukraine (PrJSC VF Ukraine) in April-June 2017 saw UAH 2.9 billion in revenue, which is 6.2% more than in the same period in 2016.

According to a press release from the operator, due to the expansion of 3G coverage and the improvement of the data services quality, Vodafone Ukraine in the second quarter doubled revenue from data transfer, to UAH 908 million.

The subscriber base of Vodafone Ukraine in the second quarter was 20.8 million subscribers.

OIBDA in the second quarter increased by 53% compared to the same period in 2016 and reached UAH 1.3 billion. The OIBDA margin increased by 13.4 percentage points.

In addition, during the reporting period Vodafone Ukraine saw net profit rise by 2.3 times, to UAH 500 million.

Capital investments doubled compared to the same period last year, to UAH 1.2 billion.

Vodafone Ukraine is the second largest mobile communications operator in Ukraine. By the second half of 2017 it served about 20.8 million subscribers in Ukraine. The operator has about 500 stores all over the country.
