Ukrainian PM backs increase of Ukraine's goods turnover with Central Asia
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman advocates the increase of Ukraine's goods turnover with Central Asia.
"European integration is a strategic vector for us. I would like to say that Central Asian countries remain important partners for Ukraine. I would like to say that it is strategically important for us to improve our cooperation. I think that if we look at cooperation of our countries in the recent period we would see that we have many issues that could solve," he said at a meeting with ambassadors of Central Asian countries in Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday.
The prime minister said that the countries should improve mechanisms for cooperation between intergovernmental commissions and enhance cooperation in trade and infrastructure projects.
"We should understand where we are staying now. The figures that we have for goods turnover do not suit neither you nor Ukraine. We understand that there are some logistic difficulties created artificially. We must find solutions I think," Groysman said.
