Oschadbank (Kyiv) on April 14 carried out the early repayment of part of a refinancing loan from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) for UAH 2 billion, the press service of the financial institution has said.

According to the report, the total amount of repaid debts on loans reached UAH 12.6 billion, the amount to be repaid is UAH 7.02 billion.

According to the bank, in the first quarter of 2016 its term resource base grew by UAH 4.989 billion (excluding the effect of exchange rate differences), while term individuals' deposits in this sum amounted to UAH 2.149 billion.

As reported, in January-February 2016 Oschadbank early repaid UAH 5.047 billion of NBU refinancing.

Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.

Oschadbank ranked second among 123 operating banks in the country on October 1, 2015 by total assets (UAH 156.596 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
