Ukraine in January-February 2016 imported coal and anthracite (foreign economic activity code 2701) worth $237.985 million, in particular in February for $132.042 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Russia supplied coal for $118.112 million, the United States for $45.255 million, Australia for $25.931 million, other countries for $48.687 million.

The total volume of coal delivered to the country for the two months of this year amounted to 2.68 million tonnes.

At the same time, Ukraine in January-February 2016 exported 51,473 tonnes of coal and anthracite for $4.776 million, in particular to Slovakia for $4.705 million.

As reported, Ukraine in January-February 2015 imported coal and anthracite worth $268.25 million, in particular in February for $121.647 million. The total amount of products supplied to the country for the two months in 2015 amounted to 2.437 million tonnes.
