The Ukrainian parliament will consider the possibility of revising the current Tax Code to balance the 2016 national budget, Ukrainian parliamentary speaker Volodymyr Groysman said in the parliament on Thursday.

"We're mulling the possibility of revising the current Tax Code for the sake of balancing the budget for 2016," he said, presenting the results of the meeting with the participation of parliamentary factions' heads and Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk before the parliamentary session.

The speaker said that the sides agreed that the new Tax Code should be a joint product of the government and the Ukrainian parliament and be an incentive for the development of the national economy.

"We will continue this work with us next year to reach decisions. A working group from professional representatives of the factions will be created wit the direct participation of the prime minister," he said.
