Ukrtelecom tentatively sees UAH 238 mln in net profit in 2014

Public joint-stock company Ukrtelecom tentatively saw UAH 238.078 million in net profit in 2014, while its net loss tentatively was UAH 1.834 billion in 2013, according to a report on the agenda of an annual general meeting of shareholders in the company scheduled for April 21.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrtelecom saw UAH 84.73 million in net profit. After receiving a report from an actuary on long-away and the final completion of the audit of Ukrtelecom's financial report some data could be revised drastically.

According to the report, Ukrtelecom's assets totaled UAH 7.815 billion as of December 31, 2014, and it is 2.7% down from a year ago.

Fixed assets tentatively fell by 20.3% in 2014, to UAH 4.688 billion, and total bills receivable grew by 44.4%, to UAH 1.017 billion. Long-term liabilities decreased by 5.5%, to UAH 332.463 million, and current liabilities dropped by 7.6%, to UAH 3.013 billion. Money resources fell by 80%, to UA 112.493 million.

Undistributed loss declined by 4%, to UAH 5.684 billion, net worth grew by 1%, to UAH 4.469 billion and charter capital did not change, being UAH 4.681 billion.

The number of employees last year fell by 22.8%, to 43,495.

Ukrtelecom is the largest fixed communications operator in Ukraine and develops 3G mobile communications.

The end owner of Ukrtelecom is Rinat Akhmetov's SCM holding.
