Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu have discussed bolstering bilateral cooperation and financial aid for Ukraine in Davos, Switzerland, the presidential press service has said.

"The territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine are important both to us and the world at large," Davutoglu said.

The Ukrainian president called for joint efforts on regional security.

A boost to bilateral cooperation, including in military-technological cooperation and the energy sector, was also discussed, the press service reported.

Poroshenko and Davutoglu spoke about financial aid for Ukraine in collaboration with the IMF and Turkish investment in the Ukrainian economy.

"Petro Poroshenko and Ahmet Davutoglu agreed that the finance and energy ministers of their countries would meet soon to carry on the interaction," the press service said.
