Centrenergo expects departure of 200 railcars with coal blocked on border with Russia – Prodan

PJSC Centrenergo expects the departure of 200 railcars with Russian coal that have currently been blocked on the border with Russia, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan has said.

"Coal is not shipped on the Russian side... About 200 wagons have been on the border for five days," he told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Prodan said that Ukrainian thermal power plants were currently receiving the coal that has already been on its way from the Russian side.
