Yatseniuk demands measures to stop capital flight from Ukraine

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk intends to order the State Financial Monitoring Service to take tough measures to control capital flight from Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers will meet tomorrow. I will ask the State Financial Monitoring Service to take all measures to control capital flight from Ukraine," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

"I am informed that people are taking millions of dollars from deposits … These people are not simple Ukrainian citizens, who made millions, but people who are related to the former administration and shadow revenues," Yatseniuk said.
