Over 20 new flights will be launched from Boryspil airport in winter navigation

Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) plans from the beginning of the 2013/2014 winter navigation period (from October 27) to start servicing new carriers and launch more than 20 new flights to Europe and Asia.

According to the press service of the airport, in particular, from January 16, 2014 Boryspil will service the first flight of Emirates airline (Dubai, the UAE). Flights will be operated daily using an Airbus-340-500 aircraft on the Dubai-Kyiv-Dubai route.

In addition, from October 27 Swiss International Airlines launched daily scheduled flights on the Zurich-Kyiv-Zurich (Switzerland) route. From November 12, Tatarstan airline (Russia) will launch its first flight on the Kazan-Kyiv-Kazan route. Flights are to be performed on Tuesdays and Fridays.

In addition, from December 1 the airport will start servicing Ellin Air. Flights on the Kyiv-Thessaloniki (Greece) route will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays.

During the winter navigation season, Boryspil airport will service the new flights operated by Windrose. The regular program of the airline on long-haul routes began on October 23 with a flight to Bangkok (Thailand) - the flights will be operated three times a week. From January it is planned to operate regular flights to Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). Windrose's charter program foresees long-haul flights from November to Punta Cana (the Dominican Republic), from January - Salzburg (Austria), the Tatras (Slovakia), Kuusamo and Kittila (Finland).
