The net income of the operator decreased by 1.6%, to UAH 4.872 billion.

Revenues from local telephone services totaled UAH 2.744 billion (49.57%), and from long-distance and international telephone services UAH 1.429 billion (25.82%). Computer communications brought UAH 1.180 billion in revenues to the operator, which accounts for 21.31% of total revenues.

Revenues from mobile communications services provided by subsidiary 3Mob LLC amounted to UAH 83.1 million, UAH 6.2 million of which was received from payments from operators.

The operator's costs for overhauls and repairs on the technical operation direction amounted to UAH 20.804 million (an 18% rise compared to the same period last year) and UAH 62.280 million (a 21% rise respectively). Ukrtelecom explained the increase in the cost of repairs as being due to an increase in the volume of work to restore the network after the theft of cable, and restoring telephone communications after natural disasters.

The number of the operator's employees in the first nine months of this year decreased by 2.3% and as of October 1 was 58,539.

As reported, SCM Holding and EPIC Group (Austria) on October 4 this year completed the sale and purchase of a 100% stake in UA Telecominvest Limited, which owns 100% of ESU LLC, which, in turn, owns 92.79% of Ukrtelecom.
