The draft law on the vehicle recycling tax passed at first reading by the present convocation of parliament will be considered by the new convocation of parliament, while a draft law on the 10% tax from the sale of cash foreign currency by individuals has to be registered again, the leader of the Party of Regions faction, Oleksandr Yefremov, has said.

"There is a procedure defined in Ukrainian law. Those bills that passed first reading can be considered by the next convocation of parliament. As for bills that have only been registered, but not passed by parliament, they are returned to the authors and they are to submit them again to parliament," he said at a briefing on Tuesday.

"The draft law on car recycling tax passed first reading and was put up for second reading, but we did not consider it op purpose. There are many questions which raise doubts and the prospects of its adoption in its present form are rather vague," Yefremov said.

"The bill on the tax from the sale of cash foreign currency was not registered in the parliament in the new form. I know that the new bill foresees calculations for the introduction of the 10% tax. If the draft law is registered, it means that it has to be re-registered in the new parliament," he said.
