The Public Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine appealed to international organizations in the field of education regarding the full-scale war that the Russian Federation started with the support of the Republic of Belarus.

"The Ukrainian people are giving a decent rebuff to the Russian invaders, but many Ukrainians have been killed, the infrastructure has been destroyed. Schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions were destroyed. As the war shows, education is the right tool to counter propaganda. Education should promote the values ​​of peace, democracy, love and mutual respect," the appeal says.

In this connection, the Public Council in a letter urges colleagues to apply to the governing bodies of the European Union, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the governments of the countries with requests: to secure the Ukrainian skies by sending peacekeeping aircraft; to promote the exclusion of Russia from the United Nations Security Council, to introduce a UN peacekeeping contingent into Ukraine; provide Ukraine with maximum military, financial and humanitarian assistance.
