A tender to select a constructor of a subway line to Troyeschyna district in Kyiv would be held in 2012, according to the deputy of Kyiv city administration head, Ruslan Kramarenko.

He said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine that the agreement was reached between Kyiv city administration and Japan's ITOCHU Corporation in Kyiv on January 28 during the discussion of the issue of the provision of a 30-year credit to Kyiv Metropoliten Company with 1.5% interest rate per annum.

It is expected that ITOCHU Corporation is to report on the issue to the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry of Japan on February 15, 2011. The credit would be issued with support of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine and the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry of Japan. The issue would be studied by the end of this year and consultants who would prepare a tender to select the constructor of the subway line to be held in 2012 would be selected.
