U.S. Internal Revenue Service ready to provide Ukraine's fiscal service with information about Ukrainian officials involved in smuggling

The Criminal Investigation (CI) division of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service is ready to provide the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine with information about Ukrainian officials who are involved in smuggling, Spokesperson of the State Fiscal Service Natalia Nepriakhina has said.

"And again about the CI division of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service... They are ready to provide the State Fiscal Service with operational information about officials, as well as affiliated companies that are engaged in smuggling," Nepriakhina wrote in the Facebook social network, describing the first results of the official visit of acting Head of the State Fiscal Service Myroslav Prodan to Washington.

She said that the branches of the CI division work not only in the United States, but also in Europe - Frankfurt and London, interacting with Europol, as well as in Asia and Australia.

"Therefore, they have information about the illegal operations of companies affiliated with officials and politicians at different levels," she added.
