Tymoshenko: We won elections to territorial communities with over 35% of votes

Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko has stated that Batkivschyna achieved a confident victory in the elections to the merged territorial communities held in Ukraine on April 29.

"Based on the results of the elections to the merged territorial communities, Batkivschyna achieved an absolute victory with the result of 35.4%, while the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity party received 27.1% of the votes. Thus, 277 deputies were elected from the Batkivschyna party, while 212 deputies were elected from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Solidarity party. Batkivschyna won with a significant advantage," Tymoshenko said at a press conference, commenting on the preliminary results of the elections.

According to her, Batkivschyna currently has 40% of the protocols with wet stamps, on the basis of which the result was calculated.

Tymoshenko noted that administrative resources, political repression, large-scale bribery and falsification on the part of the authorities were recorded at the elections.

Thus, the Agrarian Party of Ukraine received 13.6%, Nash Kray some 5.6%, Oleh Liashko's Radical Party some 5%, UKROP some 3%, the Opposition Bloc some 2.6%, Samopomich some 2%, the People's Front 1.2%, Svoboda 0.8%, and the Civil Position party of Anatoliy Hrytsenko got 0.5%.
