Ukrainian general consul in Rostov-on-Don confirms that Savchenko's sister is on territory of general consulate

Ukrainian general consul in Rostov-on-Don, Vitaliy Moskalenko, has confirmed that Vira Savchenko, the sister of Nadia Savchenko, is on the territory of the general consulate.
"Vira is now on the territory of the Ukrainian general consulate in Rostov-on-Don. Her further actions are now difficult to predict," Moskalenko told Interfax on Thursday.
He said the court has opened a case against Vira Savchenko for allegedly insulting a judge in Chechnya.
Dmytro Kuleba, permanent representative of Ukraine in the Council of Europe, said earlier on Thursday, that Vira Savchenko was in the Ukrainian general consulate in Rostov-on-Don.
The press service for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported earlier, that Vira Savchenko's passport had been taken from her at a checkpoint in Russia, and that she was in a diplomatic car with a Ukrainian consul.
President Poroshenko ordered the Foreign Ministry to take maximum effort to bring Vira Savchenko, who was detained while trying to leave Russia, to Ukraine.
She later managed to leave the checkpoint on the Russian side of the Ukrainian-Russian border in a diplomatic car with Ukrainian consuls.
