Three Ukrainians injured in road accident in Egypt – Foreign Ministry

Two people died and 20 were injured in a road traffic accident involving a tourist bus on the Hurghada-Cairo highway in Egypt.

The injured include three Ukrainian citizens, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday, with reference to a statement released by the Ukrainian Embassy in Egypt.

"The embassy established telephone connection with one of the affected Ukrainian citizens, who said that Ukrainian citizens had sustained mild injuries. They are currently in a hospital in the town of Ras Gharib, where they have received medical assistance. The embassy is in a constant contact with the management of the tourist company," reads the statement.

As reported, a tourist bus and a truck crashed near Hurghada in Egypt. The crash caused the bus to flip over, according to local media reports. According to preliminary information, the passengers were Russian and Ukrainian citizens. There were at least 20 people on the bus.
