Six Ukrainian officers captured in Crimea released, says Defense Ministry's spokesman

All Ukrainian officers, who were captured earlier in Crimea, have been released, head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's media center in Crimea Vladyslav Selezniov told Interfax-Ukraine.

"According to my information, six people have been released, including Colonel Yuliy Mamchur and Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Major General Ihor Voronchenko," Selezniov said.

According to him, the released officers are on their way from Crimea to Chonhar in Kherson region.

Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Leonid Poliakov earlier reported that six Ukrainians were held captive in Crimea.
