Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk plans to go to Brussels on March 6 to attend a European Union summit which will focus on the situation in Ukraine, the Ukrainian government's press service reported.

Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak met with a French parliamentary delegation, led by head of the Foreign Affairs Commission Elisabeth Guigou, on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

"Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk is expected to attend the Council of Europe's summit in Brussels on March 6," he said during the meeting.

Semerak expressed the hope that France would help Ukraine restart cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and carry out domestic reforms.
