Boryspil Airport starts servicing AeroSvit's departing flights

Boryspil International Airport has received a message from AeroSvit Airline on a partial advance payment for the services to be provided in the next few days, as well as a letter of guarantee with the obligation to transfer the funds for the provided services on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, and started servicing the airline's departing flights.

"In case of the non-fulfillment of guarantee commitments or delays in the subsequent advance payment, Boryspil Airport will stop servicing the airline's departing flights at 1200 on January 9, 2013," reads a statement posted on the airport's Web site.

As reported, Boryspil International Airport announced that it had suspended the servicing of AeroSvit Airline's flights starting from flight VV 257 Kyiv-Copenhagen at 1250 on January 4, 2012 due to the non-observance of the financial discipline by the airline.

AeroSvit was created in 1994. It is based at Boryspil airport in Kyiv. It serves 80 international destinations in 34 countries. It provides services to passengers in the largest cities of Ukraine. Its fleet consists of 28 Boeing aircraft, including 20 medium-range Boeing 737s and eight long-haul Boeing 767s. In addition to that, it operates Airbus 320, Airbus 321, Embraer 145, Embraer 190, and ATR-72 aircraft.
