Lithuanian FM: Ukraine's Victory Plan very realistic

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis has described the Victory Plan presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as "very realistic", saying that postponing the decisions Kyiv is now asking for could change Europe beyond recognition.
"I am grateful to Andriy [Sybiha, Foreign Minister of Ukraine], who outlined the Victory Plan, informed us about the main aspects of the Victory Plan during our conversation. And after listening to the ideas, I would like to make a few points. This is a very realistic plan. We have the ability to provide equipment. We have the ability to lift the restrictions on long-range strikes. All it takes is a political decision," he said at a press conference with the foreign ministers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight and Ukraine in Odesa.
Landsbergis also said: "We have the opportunity to provide security guarantees so that Ukraine knows that it will not be attacked the day after signing any treaty."
"So, everything else is a choice. We have to make that choice, because postponing decisions, as we did in 2014 when Ukraine was forced to sign the agreement, has brought us to 2022. Postponing the decisions Ukraine is now asking us to make will not change the world for the better. It could change Europe in a way that is unrecognizable. And I hope this will not happen," the Lithuanian minister said.
