Poroshenko Foundation transfers equipment worth UAH 5.6 bln to AFU
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the Poroshenko Foundation has spent UAH 5.6 billion to help Ukrainian servicemen, purchased and delivered 27,429 FPV drones, 220 night FPV drones, 1,500 night and day Mavics to the front, the European Solidarity party said on its website on Saturday.
"Every Ukrainian now should not just believe in the Armed Forces, but do everything to help them. Someone signs a contract with the Armed Forces, someone mobilizes, someone collects money abroad, and someone does it in Ukraine and buys huge amounts of aid," stressed head of the Foundation, leader of the European Solidarity, MP of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, during the presentation of the Foundation's report in Uzhgorod.
The politician noted that "the war of 2014 is not at all like the war of 2024." "Previously, the whole priority was in armored vehicles and the fight against them. Now the army needs drones. Therefore, we have already purchased and transferred 27,429 FPVs. This is more than 10% of what the state supplied. We have also already delivered more than 1,500 Mavics: both night and day. This is the main means for intelligence needs. More than 100 brigades now have ‘eyes’ thanks to our work," he stressed.
In addition, 353 DAF trucks, 11 Shield armored vehicles, 90 Poseidon UAVs, and 400 ATVs were transferred to the army. Poroshenko also handed over a Zhuravel robot for evacuating the wounded to the units of the Armed Forces. In addition, 41 excavators, two Oshkosh tractors, 40 Foden trucks, and 3,000 Vanilla Sugar drone detectors were handed over to the military.
"We also remember the fortifications. Forty-one excavators are already working on the construction of a defense line in New York, near Vovchansk and Sumy region. But the most important thing is that our excavators work both day and night," Poroshenko said.
"We supply agile boats for our Marines. I won't say more specifically, but thanks to them, fewer and fewer occupiers can be observed on the islands," he said.
Also, various departments received from the Poroshenko Foundation 10,560 tires, 200 bath and laundry complexes, 69 mobile car repair shops, 40 motorboats.
Poroshenko also put 40 dome radioelectronic warfare Shatro, 28 Ai-Petri technical intelligence countermeasures, hundreds of Starlink, thousands of radio stations, dozens of buses and dozens of mobile tire repair complexes and dozens of command and staff modules on the front. "Where Ai-Petri works, neither SuperCam nor Lancets can work. The artillery brigades under our protection did not suffer any losses. And we are calmly conducting offensive actions against artillery," he said.
At the same time, the leader of European Solidarity noted that 5 out of UAH 5.6 billion of aid are his personal funds and the funds of his wife Maryna Poroshenko. "UAH 5.6 billion is the amount of assistance, of which UAH 5 billion is our Maryna's money. And it is for this amount that over the past two and a half years we have helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the politician said.
"More than 200 military units have received our assistance. We have something to be proud of, but most of all we are proud of those who are currently performing combat missions," Poroshenko said.
