Ukrnafta purchases 12 new buses

PJSC Ukrnafta purchased 12 specialized buses for transporting employees.

"12 specialized Temsa buses were purchased from the winners of the open tender – Avto-Region LLC. These are reliable Turkish cars with Japanese engines and a 20% localization rate in Ukraine," the company said in a press release on Friday.

As stated in the document, the company's specialists took into account the operating experience of existing buses, the conditions in which they will operate, their quantity and delivery time. In particular, a galvanized body was required to increase the service life to a minimum of ten years, and a Euro six engine, since the buses are used, among other things, on the territory of nature reserves.

"Buses are an important element of the work of a company like Ukrnafta, where many work in shifts and must travel to the field. On average, a company must transport from 4,500 to 5,000 workers per shift," the company said.

Currently, the transport department of Ukrnafta has 275 buses, of which 213 are in operation. All buses are involved in transporting workers to places of work in accordance with routes – both those working on a rotational basis and on one-time requests. The average age of these vehicles is 30-50 years.

"New buses for 29 passengers each were delivered to all regional divisions at the end of 2023," Ukrnafta said.

It is indicated that it is also planned to purchase 28 buses in the first quarter of 2024 through the leasing procedure.
