Poland ready to let through its territory Ukrainian carriers who were supposed to enter through Belarus, Russian from Baltic states
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland expressed its readiness to let through its territory all Ukrainian vehicles that were supposed to enter Ukraine through Belarus and the Russian Federation from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Mustafa-Masi Nayyem said on his Facebook page.
"To allow vehicles to pass without the appropriate permits, carriers must provide their data for transmission to the Polish side. Please immediately provide information about vehicles via the link to the Google form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9ynN_WxXeWnXV6jGAPh72Dt07OIqBoR4ITg38lth6rTundQ/viewform," he wrote.
The Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association Linava recommends carriers not to transport goods through the territory of Ukraine, where hostilities are taking place, and urges drivers who are in this country to immediately return to Lithuania.
According to Linava, several hundred trucks from Lithuania can currently pass through Ukraine and Belarus.
"The safety and life of people is the greatest value, therefore we urge drivers who are in Ukraine and Belarus to immediately return to Lithuania, and those who planned to go to Ukraine to abandon these plans. If possible, we ask drivers to go around the territory of Belarus and return through Poland," Linava general secretary Zenonas Buivydas is quoted in a press release.
