The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) plans to announce a tender for the sale of a 78.3% stake in PJSC Centrenergo in the last days of November-early December, intends to make every effort to receive funds for it by the end of this year, acting head of the SPF Vitaliy Trubarov has said.

"We expect that the auction will be successful enough. We will do our best to receive funds from this sale this year," he told journalists on the sidelines of the Ukrainian Financial Forum, organized by ICU investment group in Odesa.

The SPF head explained that the terms of payment depend on who will be the winner and how quickly it will be possible to formalize relations with him, since the buyer has a month to pay.

Trubarov noted at the beginning of September the government outlined such terms of privatization by its order, instructing the advisor, the appraiser, the SPF and profile ministries to finally agree on the position so that in October the Cabinet of Ministers could make a final decision on the initial selling price and additional conditions of the tender. According to him, the matter, in particular, concerns the minimum number of participants in the tender and the availability of foreign companies among them.
