McDonald's closes restaurant at Kyiv's Pecherska metro station

Enterprise with foreign investment McDonald's Ukraine Ltd. (Kyiv), which operates the McDonald's fast-food chain in Ukraine, has closed its outlet at 26 Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in Kyiv near Pecherska metro station.

"The outlet stopped working in connection with the termination of the lease of the premises. A new proposed rental rate was high for McDonald's," head of the public relations department at McDonald's, Anastasiya.Zrazhevskaya told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to her, the last working day of the restaurant was April 10, 2018, after the closure of the outlet, the company transferred its employees to other local McDonald's restaurants.

The first McDonald's outlet in Ukraine opened in Kyiv on May 24, 1997.
