Creditors and top managers of Mriya agroholding are close to the completion of talks on debt restructuring, Head of CIS, Global Financial Advisory Russia at Rothschild Inc. Giovanni Salvetti has said in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda publication.

"It looks like that we are very close to debt restructuring. This is a complicated process due to different character of all creditors, including banks, bonds at local and international levels," he said.

He said that after default of the company since 2015 have provided working capital to the company, which no one else was ready to provide.

"In fact, they saved the company, retaining its integrity and all 3,000 employees. Unfortunately, due to the alleged fraud committed by the previous owners and managers the creditors lost a large amount of money provided to Mriya in the past," Salvetti said.

He expects that the investigation into the fraud would continue for several years.

He said that the company would be put up for sale at a certain stage.
