Kernel to pay $0.25 per share in dividends for 2017 FY

The shareholders of Kernel, one of the largest Ukrainian agrarian groups, on December 11 approved the payment of dividends for the 2017 financial year (FY, July 2016-June 2017) in the amount of $0.25 per share.
The company said on the Warsaw Stock Exchange the shareholders delegated authority to the board of directors to set a date for dividend payments.
In addition, they approved the proposal of the board of directors to appoint Yevhen Osipov director of Kernel. Until the end of October he had been director of the agribusiness direction of the company.
"Today we start writing a new chapter in the history of Kernel's success. It begins with the decision of the board of directors to take an important step for the company, appointing Osipov chief executive officer of the company. In his new role, he will manage the operating activities and will be responsible for implementation of the strategy," head of the board of directors Andriy Verevsky, who is the largest shareholder of the company with a share of 38.4%, said.
According to the report, at the meeting the share of Verevsky's votes was 68.6%.
