JKX cuts average daily production in Ukraine by 11.1% in ten months

JKX Oil & Gas Plc in January-October 2017 reduced the average daily production of hydrocarbons in Ukraine by 11.1% (by 445 barrels of oil equivalent, boepd) compared to the same period in 2016, to 3,563 boepd.

According to a company report on the website of the London Stock Exchange, in particular, gas production fell by 12.4%, to 16.2 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd), oil and condensate by 30.8%, to 640 boepd.

The company said that in October this year compared with the previous month production increased by 8.4%, to 3,283 boepd, in particular gas production increased by 5.6%, to 15.1 MMcfd, oil and condensate by 18.1%, to 763 boepd.

According to the published information, the Russian assets JKX demonstrated a more significant drop: the average daily production of hydrocarbons in January-October 2017 decreased by 18.9%, to 4,966 boepd. At the same time, gas production fell by 18.7%, to 29.5 MMcfd, oil and condensate by 15.4%, to 55 boepd.

However, JKX managed to partially compensate the decline in production in Ukraine and Russia by new production in Hungary. During this period, the average daily production of the company in this country was 133 boepd.
