Ukrsotsbank sees 43.2% fall in loss in Jan-Sept

Ukrsotsbank (Kyiv) saw a loss of UAH 1.559 billion in January-September 2017, which was 43.2% less than a year ago (UAH 2.746 billion).

According to a financial report of the bank posted on its website, net interest income over the period totaled UAH 283.413 million, which is 4.1% more than a year ago (UAH 272.158 million).

Commission fee income totaled UAH 846.845 million (8.8% more).

Assets over the period narrowed by 14.5%, to UAH 31.724 billion, including a 10.3% fall in loans and debts of clients, to UAH 17.604 billion.

The charter capital as of late September 2017 did not change, being UAH 16.673 billion, while net worth decreased 18.8%, to UAH 6.714 billion.

Ukrsotsbank was founded in 1990. In October 2016, UniCredit and ABHH finalized a deal to exchange of assets, and the group sent 99.9% of shares in Ukrsotsbank to the holding in exchange of a minority stake in ABHH in the amount of 9.9%.

The bank ranked 10th among 88 operating banks as of July 1, 2017, in terms of assets worth UAH 35.165 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
