The Uber international technology company, the creator of the eponymous mobile application for taxi services, on February 23, 2017 started work in Lviv.

According to a press release, the uberX service (standard class cars) will be available in Lviv, the price of a trip starts from UAH 14.

Tariffs for uberX in Lviv will be UAH 4 for providing a car, UAH 5 for each kilometer of travel. The minimum cost of trip will be only UAH 14.

From the first day of work in Lviv trips with Uber can be paid for both in cash and using bank cards registered in the application, which is fully protected. Users will be able to find out the estimated cost of a trip in advance before confirming the order. After each trip the user will receive an e-mail receipt with information about the place of delivering a car, the route, data about the driver and cost details.

Lviv became the third city in Ukraine after Kyiv and Odesa, where the Uber service is launched.

Uber is an international technology company, the creator of the eponymous mobile application for calling cars with a personal driver. It works in more than 500 cities and 80 countries around the world. In Ukraine the Uber service is available from 2016.
