Ukrnafta believes that economy ministry illegally accrues UAH 1.5 bln of fine for late payment of dividends

Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta has asked Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk to revoke the decision of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry to accrue UAH 1.51 billion of fine for the late payment of UAH 1.78 billion of dividends for 2011-2013, believing that the decision is unlawful.
"The document was passed in violation of procedures. Among other things, the fact that the order was signed in violation of the procedure stands out. In addition, the fine was accrued for the non-payment of dividends in 2011-2013, although the size of liabilities was defined only on October 10, 2014," the company said.
Today Ukrnafta owes UAH 10.2 billion to the national budget.
According to MP from Samopomich Viktoria Voitsytska, some little-known companies owe over UAH 11 billion to Ukrnafta.
